Today I talk about my favorite or the book that impressed this is "Ines del alma mia" is a novel written for Isabel Allende, the book tell the story about the life of Ines de Suarez who was the first woman in arrive to Chile.
In the first chapters tells about the life of Ines in Spain where she married with her first love, Juan de Malaga, after he go to America and Ines decide go after him but this not was the only reason for go to America because she searching freedom.

When she comes to America, the book tells about her life in Cuzco where she knows to Pedro de Valdivia. After learning that her husband was dead, she decide go from Peru to Chile with the expedition of Pedro de Valdivia. during the travel, she could find water, this allowed that the expedition managed to cross the desert.
When the expedition arrive to Chile, she help in the conquest of Chile and begin a romance with Pedro de Valdivia. Ines help in the foundation of the city of Santiago de la nueva Extremadura, in this part the book tells about how terrible was the struggles against Mapuches and how difficult was the foundation of Santiago for the constant attacks of the Mapuche, the food shortages, etc.
